8 days left....

June 25th is quickly approaching and consequently my time in New Zealand is quickly coming to a close. Went up to the rec center today only to realize my gym membership expired yesterday...that pretty much sums it up haha. We're doing a group pot-luck dinner tonight with like 22 people bringing everything from appetizers to main meals to cookies, brownies and cake (OH NO IS RIGHT). The next day TEAN's providing us with our Wellington farewell dinner so everyone from our program in Wellington, including a couple others are coming in and feasting on some good old cuisine. Lauren Gabbell who helped us Christchurch kids out so much is coming in for the occasion so we're all looking forward to that. Monsoon Poon (the name of the restaurant), you've been warned!
