As soon as I got there I knew it was a special place full of crystal clear water covering outstanding coral reef that was truly amazing in itself. The Fijian people were some of the friendliest people that I've ever had the privilege of meeting. They took us to their village which they walk every morning and night. The one time we all had to walk there is was over rough yet beautiful terrain and took well over an hour to get there and the same amount of time to get back. Needless to say these people were fit and in-shape and always catering to our needs. They prepared three filling meals daily including fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast, fish and chips for lunch and a buffet of assorted meats and veggies for dinner. At night they usually found ways of entertainment for us including single bar or traditional dancing or drinks derived from roots of plants (tasted more like muddy water but was sacred to their lifestyles). The overall slogan of this resort was "The Luxury of Simplicity" - Couldn't agree more

Fiji
Fiji was truly amazing as we spent 4 extraordinary days at the Botaira Resort, which is a three hour boat ride from the Nadi mainland. http://www.botaira.com/
