Market Day
Sunday mornings are great here as the fresh fruit and vegetable markets open up all over town. Not only are they closer to my housing but they are vastly cheaper compared to New World grocery stores. Today I got 2 kgs of apples, two tomatoes, and 7 bananas for 8 bucks. Not bad compared to what I would have had to put down at an actual grocery store. They had everything from peppers to eggplant to blueberries to corn on the cob. The only downer thus far has been the rain - which we seem to get a hefty portion of daily. Lets hope it stops at least so I can walk to school for 20 minutes dry, rather than soaking wet.
