Victoria University

Worst part - 20-25 minute walk to campus, up-hill, everyday along with the same walk back. I think its a good thing and kind of enjoy it right now as I know I'll be getting my exercise everday - thats for sure. Plus its a great city to walk around.

It's Thursday here and I had my first set of classes, three to be exact. If all goes according to plan I should have Mondays, Wednesdays off with only one class Friday afternoon. I'm still really nervous and anxious though because I don't know - due to transferring schools - if these classes will transfer back to Drake as they did with the University of Canterbury. They seem very similar but you never know.

I just wish I could begin to finally settle down. Just as the earthquake hit I was finally doing that in Christchurch and now I have to do all that over again here in Wellington. Once more I have to figure out my classes, professors, books, accomodations, people, etc. I tell ya the places I've been and things we've been through in the last 3 weeks is ridiculous. We've gone from LA to Fiji to Aukland to Christchurch to O'Kains Bay to Wellington...not to mention enrolling and dis-enrolling from roughly three universities. Never would have or could have prepared for something like this but I'm taking it all in and enjoying it with the people around me. This is still the semester of a lifetime.
