Tonga Day 6 - ('Eua)

Today was my actual birthday back in America and it was absolutely perfect here! We went horseback riding to a secluded beach - one of the only sandy beaches on 'Eua. These horses aren't touristy either - they belong to the villagers for working around their land and getting from place to place - no saddles, just blankets and rope was all we needed! The area got sore fast and still is stiff to this day but I eventually got used to it - especially once we started nearing the beach. We rode these horses along the 'Eua coastline just taking in the sunshine passing through 'town' on our way there. Once we got to the beach we took some photos and just straight up relaxed after that - utter paradise - we had the beach to ourselves. For the next two hours we either laid on the beach tanning or snorkelled in the water seeing some amazing coral and many varieties of fish - almost as great as Fiji!

Once horseback riding was done we set out for another beach within walking distance from our resort  - again no one there but us. We finished the day lying in lounge chairs, watching an amazing sunset and the shooting stars at night. What an absolutely perfect last day in Tongan bliss.
